The Beach Boys recorded ‘Good Vibrations’ on this day in 1966.  Previously purveyors of sunshine-and-sand pop tunes, The Beach Boys begin recording what is arguably their greatest and most blissfully complex song, thanks mainly to the work of their front man, Brian Wilson.
